1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using StoryAI Forge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StoryAI Forge.

2. Subscription Terms and Billing

StoryAI Forge offers auto-renewable subscriptions with the following terms:

• Available Subscriptions:
  • Monthly Premium: $3.99 USD per month
  • Annual Premium: $9.99 USD per year (approximately $0.83/month)
• Billing and Auto-Renewal:
  • Payment will be charged to your iTunes/Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • The cost of renewal will be the same as your initial subscription price unless otherwise notified
• Subscription Management:
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase
  • No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during an active subscription period
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

3. Free Trial and Promotional Offers

StoryAI Forge provides the following free features and trial terms:

• New users receive 2 free story generations
• Free trial availability and terms may vary by promotion and may change without notice
• Free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled
• Only one free trial per user/Apple ID

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund policy adheres to Apple's App Store standards:

• All purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple
• Refund requests must be submitted through Apple:
  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Select the subscription
  • Submit your refund request
• Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's policies
• The current subscription period remains active after cancellation until the end of the current billing cycle

5. User Content and Rights

Regarding content generated through the App:

• You retain all rights to stories you generate using the App
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to:
  • Store your content on our servers
  • Use anonymized content to improve our services
  • Display your content within the App
• You are solely responsible for all content you generate
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purposes
• Generate content that is illegal, offensive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to circumvent the App's subscription system
• Share or distribute your subscription access
• Reverse engineer or modify the App
• Use the App to generate spam or malicious content

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including:

• Our proprietary AI story generation technology
• The App's source code and design
• Our trademarks and logos
• The App's features and functionality

are and will remain the exclusive property of StoryAI Forge and its licensors.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the App with or without notice
• Change subscription pricing with notice to users
• Update these terms by posting a new version
• Limit access to any feature or part of the App

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability or uninterrupted service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryAI Forge shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Personal injury or property damage

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time by posting updated terms. Continued use of the App after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
